SSP*
£99.35 per week (3 waiting days, SSP on day 4)
Family Leave Rates*
£156.66 per week (or 90% of average weekly earnings, whichever is lower)
Redundancy
Weekly cap payment is £571.00
Maximum statutory redundancy payment cap is £17,130
Tribunal Awards
Limit on a week’s pay to increase to £571.00
Maximum compensatory award for unfair dismissal to increase to £93,878
Minimum basic award for unfair dismissal to increase to £6,959.00
*Employers who have employees on sickness absence or maternity leave etc., in the run up to April 2022, must remember to factor in the increases for these employees where there absence continues past the rate change date, as well as employees who go on sick leave, maternity leave etc after the new rates are in place.
